Purechannels 'Merry Quizmas - The Sequel' Competition Terms and Conditions

  1. The promoter is: Purechannels Ltd (company no: 5485704) whose registered office is at Office Suite 2, 34 St Martin’s Way, Abbey Court, Battle, East Sussex, TN33 0TZ.
  2. The competition is not restricted geographically but all entrants must be over 18 years old and enter using a work email address. The competition is closed to employees of Purechannels and their close relatives and anyone otherwise connected with the organisation or judging of the competition.
  3. There is no entry fee and no purchase necessary to enter this competition.
  4. Route to entry for the competition and details of how to enter are via www.merryquizmas.co.uk
  5. Only one entry will be accepted per person.
  6. Closing date for entry will be 23rd December 2019. After this date, no further entries to the competition will be permitted.
  7. No responsibility can be accepted for entries not received for whatever reason.
  8. The rules of the competition and how to enter are as follows:
    • On completing the game, players will be informed of their score and will have the opportunity to enter their score to the leaderboard and enter the competition. To enter, players will need to submit their full name, company name and email address. If we suspect any foul-play in obtaining a score or recording a score on the leaderboard, or any other contravention of these terms, then we reserve the right to remove the score without investigation.
  9. Purechannels reserves the right to cancel or amend the competition and these terms and conditions without notice in the event of a catastrophe, war, civil or military disturbance, act of God or any actual or anticipated breach of any applicable law or regulation or any other event outside of Purechannels control. Any changes to the competition will be notified to entrants as soon as possible by Purechannels.
  10. Purechannels is not responsible for inaccurate prize details supplied to any entrant by any third party connected with this competition.
  11. The prizes are as follows:
    • First and Second Place: Amazon Echo Smart speaker with Alexa.
    • Third Place: Amazon Echo Dot Smart speaker with Alexa
    • Lucky Draw: 4 players picked at random will win an Echo Dot Smart speaker with Alexa.
  12. The prize is as stated, and no cash or other alternatives will be offered. The prizes are not transferable. Prizes are subject to availability and Purechannels reserves the right to substitute any prize with another of equivalent value without giving notice.
  13. Winners will be chosen:
    • Winner, Second and Third Place prize - top scores entered to the leaderboard by the closing date.
    • Lucky Draw Winners - at random by software, from all entries received by the closing date and verified by Purechannels.
  14. The winners will be notified by email within 28 days of the closing date. If the winners cannot be contacted or do not claim the prize within 14 days of notification, Purechannels reserves the right to withdraw the prize from the winners and pick replacement winners. Purechannels employees, past employees or any family or friends of current or past employees are not eligible to win any of the prizes.
  15. Purechannels will notify the winners as to when the prizes will be delivered.
  16. Purechannels decision in respect of all matters to do with the competition will be final and no correspondence will be entered into.
  17. The winner agrees to the use of his/her name and image in any publicity material, as well as their entry. Purechannels may use the data supplied by entrants to process the competition, inform winning participants of their winning entry and those who didn’t win that they were unsuccessful, and to contact entrants in relation to products and services it believes may be of interest to them. Any personal data relating to the winner or any other entrants will be used solely in accordance with current EU data protection legislation and will not be disclosed to a third party without the entrant’s prior consent.
  18. By entering the competition entrants warrant that all information they submit is correct and not obscene or offensive or otherwise in breach of any third-party rights and Purechannels reserves the right to verify the eligibility of all entrants. Purechannels reserves the right to disqualify any entrant from the competition if it believes (in its sole discretion) that such entrant has breached any of these Terms.

  20. To the fullest extent permitted by law Purechannels does not make any express or implied warranties, representations or endorsements whatsoever with regard to the competition prizes or any information, service or product provided in connection with a competition.
  21. Purechannels reserves the right to cancel the competition, change the competition, or amend any part of the competition, including these terms, at any time
  22. Entry into the competition will be deemed as acceptance of these terms and conditions.
  23. The competition is governed by English law and any disputes arising in connection with the competition and/or these Terms will be subject to the exclusive jurisdiction of the courts of England.
